Counseling Philosophy
Claire believes in taking an active approach to healing and growth and emphasizes the importance of setting small, achievable goals to build and maintain success. She focuses on building trust and rapport, which allows children to feel safe and understood as they navigate their challenges. Claire assists clients in identifying coping skills that positively impact their thoughts and feelings, creating a pathway to resilience. By encouraging children to actively participate in problem-solving and pursue activities that align with their goals, she helps them cultivate a sense of accomplishment and self-confidence. Through hands-on activities, role-playing, and guided discussions, she creates opportunities for children to practice coping skills in a supportive environment.
